Description
By and with Daniele Anzalone
The emblematic story of an immigrant. His figure, almost paradoxical, grotesque, embodies, underneath the apparent cheerful naivety, the bewilderment, the suffering, the desperation of those who, forced to leave their homeland, must face the impact with a diffident and hostile environment, and confront the anger, the rancour, the fear of those who live in those 'evolved' countries. Beyond the apparent levity of the tale, there emerges the denunciation of an obtuse and hypocritical bureaucratic-social context and of an inadequate and often unfair and oppressive legal-regulatory apparatus.
