Concert: Paul Rose Trio

Description

Paul Rose (Newcastle, 1966) is undoubtedly one of the most talented guitarists in the world. We were able to admire him last year at Magic Blues with the Band of Friends! A basic rock guitarist, his extraordinary playing style touches on blues, country, jazz and folk, fused into a style entirely his own. Never does a concert go by where the audience does not say that Paul is the best guitarist they have ever heard. For some time now he has been the guitarist in Sari Schorr's band, and in the past he has also worked with such artists as Gerry McAvoy (Rory Gallagher's bassist for 25 years), Randy Brecker, Bill Evans (Miles Davis, Mick Jagger, Derek Trucks) and John 'Rabbit' Bundrick (Free, Bob Marley, Pete Townsend and 30 years with the Who). With his tight-knit trio, we expect a lightning-fast concert. Evening not to be missed

Opening the evening, and a welcome return to the Magic Blues, Egidio “Juke” Ingala & The Jacknives, who for many years have been one of the most in-demand “rockin' old-school blues” combos on the international blues scene, famous throughout Europe for their energetic live performances and the high quality of the music they perform. They know how to thrill audiences with their Chicago and West Coast Blues. Welcome back to the Vallemaggia Magic Blues Egidio!
